In normal life, many incidences are seen where one person easily makes other person to trust him through attractive speech. For an effective salesperson, it is mandatory to possess the convincing skills in order to make the customer to purchase more. But these skills are categorized under effective salesmanship. In this regard, this salesperson is not hypnotizing the customer but he is convincing him to buy. But the fact is that when the results are analyzed it is result of the salesperson's job which is being done with the acceptance of the customer. Hence, the word hypnotism never occurs here but the same word comes into effect when a psychiatrist treats their patient for some purpose in which they hypnotizes them with their will. Here the person knows that he is hypnotized and hence he never cares for that.

But if comes to know that if he is hypnotized without his will there comes a issue.Yes it is possible to hypnotize anyone without his will as this technique needs extra skills to make the person who is being hypnotized to fall in his net. This is all purely mind techniques and not any other thing. This is also seen in public meeting where the people do listen to the orators who give speech on specific topic would listen to them in gasping manner and this is purely a psychological effect and nothing else.

The word changes as per the situation, but the term hypnotism does occur when the thing is very serious. This is being applied when a thief is being tortured for revealing the secrets by a doctor. Here the person is hypnotized to get answers without his will. Hence, it is possible and the process here is being done for the legit purposes. However, there are many speculations on hypnotism process as it is sometimes being used for cheating purposes. When the same process if done for untrustworthy process there occurs the issue of threatening of life issues.

On the whole, the process of hypnotism is done without the will of others and the reliability of the process is carefully analyzed by scrutinizing the purpose for which the process is carried out. Totally, this process is fine as per the laws when it is conducted as per the law and care to be taken not to cross the limits of law and medicine.
